Meet The Team
The church is led by our three Elders (Dave, Tony and Richard) and served by a team of four Deacons (Gareth, Jonathan, Nick and James).
The elders are also supported by one other member of staff, Anthea (Ladies’ Worker).

Dave Williams - Elder
Dave was converted during his first year at Bristol University, through the ministry of Navigators. He’s been a member of St Mellons Baptist Church since 1978, and during the whole of that period has worked for the same Cardiff-based firm of Chartered Accountants. He has spent most of his time in St Mellons supporting the church’s youth work, but recently has been more involved in the wider oversight of the church.

Richard Webster - Elder
Rich was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire. He came to know the Lord at the age of 16 during a Christian Youth Camp and can testify to the Lord’s love and faithfulness since then.
Rich moved to West London to complete his degree, and in 2010 he moved to Cardiff and became a member of St Mellons Baptist Church.
Rich works as a Mortgage Advisor, he is married to Heidi and they have four children.Richard Webster - Elder
